Abstract

Patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder with psychotic features (PSY) have been hypothesized to have a disruption in corollary discharge (CD), an internal copy of a motor command. Saccadic eye-movement tasks have been used to study CD and have suggested that PSY have altered transsaccadic perception compared to healthy controls (HC). It has also been suggested that PSY have altered neural activity compared to HC during saccadic tasks.
