Abstract

Since the advent of newborn screening in the UK, Cystic Fibrosis Screen Positive Indeterminate Diagnosis (CFSPID) infants have been identified. Many are asymptomatic and long term outcomes are uncertain. Within the UK there is a wide variation in physiotherapy input for these children, ranging from routine reviews to referral only and there is ongoing uncertainty regarding the optimal approach.
