Abstract

Increasing evidence supports a bidirectional communication between the gut and the brain. However, few studies have examined the association between gut microbiome composition and psychopathology, particularly in early life. As such, the present study examined whether infant gut microbiome composition associates with emotional and behavioral symptoms in early childhood.
