Abstract

Pathogenic Copy number variants(CNVs) are identified in 10-15% of patients referred for developmental psychiatric disorders. However, their effect sizes on cognitive traits measured as a continuum remain mostly unknown. We published model was based on intolerance scores(LOEUF) and estimated with a 77% accuracy the effect size of any CNV on intelligence quotient(IQ). However, this approach(on 24,092 individuals) assumed a linear effect of LOEUF and did not provide details on individual genes. Our new objective is to provide a detailed genome-wide map of the effect sizes of individual coding genes on cognition.
