Abstract
Previous study showed that abscopal response induced by radiotherapy plus immunotherapy occurred in 27% of patients with advanced solid tumors. In recent years, thermal ablation have shown immune-regulatory effect and prolonged survival of metastatic lung cancer patients. Hereby, we postulated that thermal ablation combined with immunotherapy might also result in abscopal response in patients of lung cancer who had local progression after the anti-PD-(L)1 immunotherapy.
