Abstract

We have previously shown that prescription opioid analgesics for chronic pain are associated with increased coding for allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (ARC) and asthma. As GABA agonists are increasingly used for chronic pain and have immunomodulatory effects, we investigated if their use is associated with ARC and asthma.
