Abstract

Despite high prevalence of asthma in children, there is a lack of non-invasive technology to monitor asthma. Our lab designed a non-invasive breath diagnostic tool that measures exhaled breath metabolites in real time and longitudinally. We tested the prototype device in collecting exhaled breath condensate, and seek to improve the device’s future design by surveying participants for their preferences in utilizing such a device.
