Abstract

Tree nut induced anaphylaxis affects a significant portion of patients with food allergy with the most common being cashews and walnuts in the United States. Currently, there are no clinical trials being conducted that target specifically cashew allergy. This study was conducted to examine the prevalence of cashew allergy and characterize the reactions of patients who undergo cashew oral challenges.
