Abstract

The fixed-threshold (FT) R-wave sensing used in current Insertable Loop Recorders (ILRs) can sometimes cause false auto-recorded arrhythmic episodes due to R-wave undersensing or T-wave oversensing. Our objective was to compare the automatic trigger performance of a dynamic threshold (DT) R-wave sensing method with the existing FT method.
