Abstract

database. Three expert ultrasonographers blindly and independently scored each image for the presence or absence of the SB and the UV; the rate of absence of the anatomical land mark was 4.78% for SB and 6.67% for UV. The scoring was then repeated by the automated method. The percentage of inter-scorer agreement between the automated method and the experts was calculated along with adjusted kappa values. Results: The levels of agreement are shown in the table (attached). There is a high level of agreement between automated method and experts; this was similar to the agreement between experts. Conclusions: The results show a high level of agreement between automated method and experts; this was similar to the agreement between experts. It has a promising potential to be expanded to other fetal biometric scans.
