Abstract

Striatal dopamine is understood to mediate time perception and is the target of dopaminergic therapies prescribed for Parkinson’s disease; however, the role of dopamine in the intersection of timing and the comorbidities of Parkinson’s disease is incompletely understood. We hypothesize that deficits in interval timing are associated with individual differences in Parkinson’s disease presentation and comorbid depression and impulse control disorder.
