Abstract

Toll-like receptor-4 (TLR4) polymorphisms may influence host immune response against Helicobacter pylori. Toll-like receptor-4 Asp299Gly and Thr399Ileu substitutions reduce the responsiveness to H. pylorilipopolysaccharide. The aim of this study was to investigate the associations of TLR4 polymorphisms with H. pylori-associated gastroduodenal disease manifestations.
