Abstract

As per GLOBOCAN-2020 statistics, breast cancer(BC) constitutes 26.3% of newly diagnosed cancer cases in India. The incidence rate is increasing in the developing world over the past decade with improvement in screening, increased awareness, and diagnostic strategies. We studied clinicopathologic characteristics of the BC patients from an institute that covers rural and semi-urban populations which truly represents the Indian population.
