P198 Home spirometry as a clinical trial endpoint: qualitative needs assessment and co-production of training materials

Abstract

OUTREACH (NCT05285410) is an ongoing multicenter, prospective study of the accuracy, feasibility and acceptability of home spirometry as a clinical trial endpoint. To inform study design, we conducted qualitative needs assessments of the practices and perspectives of people with CF (PwCF) and research coordinators (RCs) regarding home spirometry. We also co-produced all home spirometry training materials with a team of PwCFand RCs. The objective was to incorporate the expertise and perspectives of the CF community into study design and materials.
