Abstract
Standards for including real-world evidence (RWE) in health technology assessments (HTAs) are evolving. Both NICE in the UK and CADTH in Canada have recently proposed new frameworks for considering RWE in HTAs. Understanding how RWE has been considered in recent CADTH reviews may provide perspective on how it will inform future reimbursement reviews.
