Abstract
BACKGROUND CONTEXT: Spinal deformity surgery is a complex procedure associated with long surgical times, high blood loss, and neurological complications. LEAN is a management principle that supports continuous improvement through small, incremental changes to improve quality and efficiency. We have adopted LEAN principles (such as sort, simplify and standardize) to improve the quality and efficiency of pediatric spinal deformity surgeries.
