Abstract
A pixelation technique is reported for light wave coupling (LWC) displays. LWC is a super-efficient and novel emissive display platform which utilizes switchable coupling of brilliant RGB fluorescent media to a violet light storage plate. Electrowetting of fluorescent liquids provides a rapid, low-power, and simple means for modulation of pixel luminance.
