Abstract
Introduction: Outcome reporting in breast reconstruction studies is inconsistent and a core outcome set (COS) has been developed to address this. The COS includes 11 key outcomes to be measured and reported in all future breast reconstruction studies, but for this to be useful in practice, it is vital to determine how and when these key outcomes should be assessed (a core measurement set, CMS). This study aimed to develop a CMS for use in implant-based breast reconstruction (IBBR) research/audit.
