Abstract
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham NHS Trust has a busy diagnostic and treatment service for breast cancer patients, which incorporates the South Birmingham Breast Screening Service. In 2018, the Trust merged with the Heart of England Trust making the overall Trust the largest in England and this amalgamated three Breast Units. In addition the oncology patients from a neighbouring Trust are cared for on the QEHB site. The Trust expected to operate full diagnostic and treatment services including breast reconstruction and oncology services.
