Abstract

Introduction: Post mastectomy implant based immediate breast reconstruction using subpectoral and prepectoral techniques have become standard practice in the United Kingdom (UK). Literature suggests that outcomes of both techniques are comparable. A comparative analysis was performed on the surgical outcomes of subpectoral versus prepectoral implant based surgery with acellular dermal matrix from a single institution in the UK.
