Abstract

The operation of solar cells declines with increasing temperature. Temperature plays a significant role in the efficiency of solar power plants and the output power of them. So that the amount of produced power in the warm seasons is significantly reduced. In this paper, the performance of the 10 MW solar power plant located in Zahedan, Iran (SAMA solar power plant) has been investigated in different days and the effects of temperature on the production power, and total efficiency of the power plant have been studied. The consequences illustrate that the performance of the solar power plant has significantly decreased in the warm summer days.
