P05. Is precautionary Axillary lymph node (ALN) Fine needle aspiration (FNA) or biopsy needed in patients with T2 lesions and above

Abstract

Introduction/Aim: Bigger breast tumours have a higher tendency of ALN involvement in most cases. Our study aims to find out the relation between tumour size and axillary involvement, to establish whether precautionary ALN biopsy is needed in T2 lesions and above (≥) which will avoid a second axillary surgery.
