Abstract

We present a case of a prenatal diagnodes hydranencephaly, bilateral multicystic dysplastic kidneys and lung hypoplasia at 21 completed weeks of gestation. The sonographic and post mortum findings are described and compared with similar cases in the literature. The possibility of a coincidence of hydranencephaly and renal dysplasia as a new genetic disorder or as a special form of Meckel Gruber Syndrome are discussed.
