Abstract
The boundary value problem of P-wave diffraction by three collinear Griffith cracks under normal impact has been considered. Laplace and Fourier transforms have been applied to convert the problem to a Fredholm integral equation of second kind in the Laplace transform plane. Stress Intensity Factor has been computed numerically by Laplace inversion using Zakian's Algorithm and plotted graphically against time for orthotropic material.
