Abstract

In this paper we demonstrate immobilization of bacteria into micro micro porous carrier which is made by nanoimprint. In our prier work, we developed the flow-type microbial chip which facilitates collecting and evaluating reaction products while immobilization of microbes enables quantification of the number of microbes involved in the reaction and making their reactions conditions consistent. The microbial chip has manufacturing errors which affect measure of precision. Therefore, to reduce manufacturing errors, we replace micro porous carrier fabrication process with nanoimprint fabrication process. The proposed fabrication method will be great help to evaluate bacteria reaction precisely.
