Abstract
Friction and wear surfaces were observed during tribological tests using laser strobe technique to the several steel materials. As results of monitoring, the surface was wore slowly and finally fracture. The stored friction surface images were analyzed to found their features. The results indicated the surface fracture patterns were distinguished several groups by the wear size.
