Abstract

Populational studies in men have suggested that DHEAS, a metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) reflecting adrenal androgen production, is inversely correlated with insulin resistance. Our objective was to determine whether DHEAS is a predictor of insulin sensitivity in patients with PCOS.
