P.772 Polysialic acid mimetics to target extrasynaptic NMDA receptors and rescue learning and memory in mouse models of neurodegenerative diseases

Abstract

The mechanical behavior, deformation and damage mechanisms of long period stacking ordered (LPSO) phase strengthened Mg alloys under high strain rate were first reported in this work. The as-cast Mg–9RY (RY: Y-rich misch metal)–4Zn alloy exhibits positive strain rate sensitive behavior and sliding deformation mechanism. LPSO phase plays an important role in hindering micro-crack propagation during damage evolution.
