Abstract

There is no standard protocol for poor responder patients referred for in vitro fertilization program. In this case, the spontaneous cycle has the advantage not to interfere with natural ovarian recruitment and selection, and therefore yielding better quality oocytes. Cumulus cells offer the possibility to identify markers that are altered in poor responder patients. The aim of this study is to determine human cumulus gene expression profile in two randomized groups: modified natural cycle (MNC) and mild stimulated cycle (MSC) groups.
