Abstract
By tailoring the radiation pattern through cavity effect, together with a compact compound parabolic concentrator, the light efficiency of μLED is increased by 1.9×. Such a high brightness μLED light engine helps to enhance the ambient contrast ratio for AR displays or to reduce the power consumption for VR headsets.
