Abstract

Some studies suggest that when day 3 serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is elevated, subsequent pregnancy rates following in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET) are extremely low. However, other studies do not agree. The objective of the present study was to determine the pregnancy rates following IVF-ET in women with such a marked diminished ovarian egg reserve that only a single embryo was transferred.
