Abstract

Fetishism is a kind of Paraphilia which is always observed in males. The beginning of this disorder is in youth. In Fetishism, the patient prefers to have sexual satisfaction with inanimate objects. The use of substance can cause some disorders in sexual functions. Amphetamines are addictive which their use has been raising recently, and from this group, one type is called Crystal. At first, this substance causes sexual reinforcement, but for long period of use, it causes sexual dysfunction. The author introduces a case, who got fetishism after use of crystal. The patient is a divorced man, and 41 years old, who started substance abuse several years ago, but since 7 months ago, he has used crystal, and now, just using crystal. Since starting the use of crystal, his sexual satisfaction is only with wearing women's underwear, and no other way. Less use causes less desire. Before the use of crystal, there was no sign of paraphilia. A lot of symptoms which related to new substances are still new for psychiatrists who are treating patients in clinics, and this case is the first reported kind. Apart from introducing the patient, different issues about psychological symptoms of crystal are discussed.
