Abstract
AbstractWe investigated discharge characteristics of Ne+N2 gas‐mixture for the possibility of being used in an AC Plasma Display Panel. The firing and the minimum sustain voltage increase with increase of N2 concentration. The luminous efficiency of Ne+N2 gas‐mixture with 300∼360 nm wavelength ultra violet excited phosphor[(Ba, Sr)2SiO4: Eu] relatively increases with increase of N2 concentration.
