Abstract
Flexible RGB light‐emitting diodes plastic foils for in‐ and outdoor use have been developed by LightnTec for applications, such as digital signage, replacement of printed banners, and digitization of facades and signs. The key parameters are pixel pitches of 16‐50 mm, a luminance of up to 5,000 cd/m2, and a weight of 0.3‐2.7 kg per square meter. These lightweight foils are ultrathin, bendable, tileable, and cut to size.
