Abstract
As the reason for the waving problem in small‐sized panel products is complex and diverse, waving issue is difficult to be solved. In order to solve the waving issue, finding out the reason is one of the most critical parts. Therefore, the effect of the internal and external stress lead to the deformation of LGP are investigated and obtained basing on the finite element analysis software ABAQUS. And combining with the results of experimental data, the main reason for the waving issue is proved. The waving issue is eliminated by effective methods for subsequent adoption. The finite element method provides a constructive guide for assessing the issue of waving.
