Abstract
AbstractWe are proposing a new reset method for AC PDP, which is composed of multiple short pulses with fast ramp bias voltage. We have succeeded in achieving low background luminance as well as stable and higher address margin. When compared with the conventional ramp reset method, the darkroom contrast ratio can be increased by 52% and the reset time can be shortened by 215μs for each subfield.
