Abstract

AbstractWe studied the design rules of the reflective type liquid crystal display (LCD) and the retardation films in order to prevent the color shift and the change of the reflectance. By analyzing the polarized state of light after passing through the LCD, and excellent reflective LCD, which shows almost constant reflectance in wide viewing angle without color shift by using the twist liquid crystal cell.
