Abstract

We propose an adaptive video scaling system based on bilinear interpolation implemented on FPGA. Different from the previous system for converting from a specific input resolution to a specified output resolution, we have realized adaptive output for multiple resolution video stream inputs. At the same time, the system's resource occupancy rate is small, which facilitates integration with other modules. Experimental results show that the system can achieve real—time low‐latency and high‐quality scaling for low‐resolution video streams, and theoretically can support 4K video super‐resolution output.
