Abstract

Biliary tract cancer (BTC) is relatively rare. It can be intrahepatic, extrahepatic or in the gallbladder. The disease is difficult to diagnose and usually fatal due to its delayed clinical presentation and lack of effective non-surgical treatment modalities. We aimed to report epidemiological features and outcomes of BTC in a Tunisian population and to identify its potential prognostic factors.
