Abstract
A small number of nomograms have been previously developed to predict the individual survival of patients who undergo curative resection for gastric cancer. TNM staging does not always accurately predict prognosis. Some studies have shown infiltration of M2 macrophages in many tumors indicated a poor prognosis, which might have the potential to predict prognosis more accurately together with TNM staging. The aim of this study was to develop and validate a survival predict nomogram for gastric cancer patients incorporating the recognized TNM stage and the degree of M2 macrophage infiltration.
