Abstract
Pulmonary oligometastatic disease in colorectal cancer can be managed with either resection or ablation. Radiologically guided thermal ablation procedures have the benefit of disease control, preservation of adjacent normal tissue and improved quality of life, based on a short hospital admission and recovery time. We sought to report the effectiveness and safety of radiofrequency and microwave ablation for pulmonary metastases in patients with colorectal cancer.
