Abstract
The synthesis and qualitative reactions of p-(3-hydroxy-3-phenyltriazeno)phenyltrimethyl-ammonium chloride are described. The solubilising effect of the quarternary ammonium group is studied; this group is valuable for the conversion of organic precipitants to colorimetric reagents.
