Abstract

In this paper, we study the static electricity resistant liquid crystal display (LCD) driven by in‐cell touch structure, the proposed LCD utilizes a liquid crystal mixture with negative dielectric anisotropy and a poloarizer with conductive particles PSA(resistance ≦109Ω/☐), allowing the device to be in much stable state against external electrostatic discharge (ESD). We expect that this proposed structure is suitable to electrostatic resistant FFS‐in‐cell touch LCD with a high image quality.
