Abstract

LRYGB and LAGB are two common surgeries for obesity and previous studies have demonstrated that weight-loss outcomes for bypass exceed those of banding by 20 - 34%. We sought to examine interactive effects of surgical procedure and sex, on loss of excess weight over time, in a cohort of bariatric surgery patients.
