Abstract

The comet assay, originated as a single-cell gel electrophoresis assay that detects DNA breaks in individual cells, can be used to detect DNA damage in embryos. Using this assay, the objective of this study is to determine if two-cells embryos that are placed in vitrification media for 32-minutes and then vitrified have more DNA damage than embryos that are placed in vitrification media for 1-minute and then vitrified.
