Abstract
AbstractWe propose a behavioral circuit model to predict optical responses of an active‐matrix liquid crystal display (AMLCD). In order to verify our model's universality, we apply it to TN, PVA, and IPS AMLCDs. The simulation results of the transient optical responses show excellent matches with the measurement ones regardless of types of LCDs.
