Abstract

We demonstrate hole injection properties of inkjet‐printed organic light emitting diode (OLED) device employing double‐layered bank structure. The double‐layered bank structure consists of the first bank which controls the electric current flowing to the inkjet‐printed organic functional layers and the second bank which separates sub‐pixels and prevents the overflow of dropped ink. In order to verify the charge injection properties in detail, the hole‐only device is fabricated and its electrical response is observed. Our study is helpful in optimizing the double‐layered bank structure which improves the performances of inkjet‐printed OLEDs by modifying the hole injection.
