Abstract
A material was synthesized as a thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) emitter to alleviate the geometrical hindrance between the donors and to improve the lifetime of the TADF devices. GTD (green TADF dopant) is a green TADF emitter which showed similar peak wavelengths to a common green TADF emitter, but exhibited three times longer device lifetime than a common TADF emitter. The dihedral angle between donor and central core of GTD was small compared to that of a common TADF emitter. And the improved bond dissociation energy of bond of GTD molecule affected the lifetime of TADF OLEDs.
