Abstract

The incidence of young adults with colorectal cancer has been increasing through the years. Early-onset CRC has been described as presenting with clinical features that compromise therapeutic options and outcomes in patients. Latin-American young patients' clinical features and their relationship with overall survival remains unclear. The aim of this study was to evaluate the age association to clinical characteristics and overall survival in Mexican patients diagnosed with CRC, treated in the National Cancer Institute.
