Abstract

Lung metastases occur in 10-20% of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) and represent the 2nd commonest site for distant spread. Comparing the transcriptome of primary tumours and their lung metastases could more accurately define phenotypic heterogeneity and help identify prognostic markers and novel therapeutic targets.
